Dauphinoise Potatoes (2)

Servings: 8-10

Ingredients
3 cups heavy cream
3 ounce butter, unsalted
2 each garlic cloves, minced fine
2 1/4 pounds of potatoes, peeled, sliced thin
6 ounces Parmesan cheese, grated
salt and pepper

Method
1. Butter a 13x9 inch pan.
2. Lay down a layer of potatoes; sprinkle some cheese, garlic and cream. Sprinkle salt and pepper on every other layer.
3. Continue to repeat step 2 until you have reached about 2 inches.
4. Top with remaining heavy cream and cheese.
5. Preheat oven at 350 degrees and bake for 1 hour covered with foil.
6. Remove foil and bake additional 30 minutes and top with small amount of Parmesan cheese.
